Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Good Morning.

It is my pleasure to be here today to trigger the first shot for the 3D seismic programme on this area. I am sure this 3D seismic programme will assist you in getting a better understanding of any hydrocarbon potential within Block M’s area.

I am pleased to note that Brunei National Petroleum Company (PetroleumBRUNEI) in its capacity as the regulator and state-party for this block, has guided and worked together with the Block M consortium to ensure that the community, and the nation’s interests are well taken care of. This should include the safety of the operations and protecting the environment.
