Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office received a Courtesy Call from Her Excellency Naureen Ahsan, High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam on 20th April 2026 at the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the Call, both sides exchanged views on areas of mutual interest in energy cooperation, with particular focus on potential energy supply arrangements and the facilitation of high-level exchanges between energy officials.
This engagement builds on the existing bilateral framework, including the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Energy Cooperation signed between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on 16th October 2022.
