Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office received An Introductory Call from Charge d’Affaires, Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Brunei Darussalam

Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office received an Introductory Call from Mr. Abdullah Alibaid, Charge d’Affaires, Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Brunei Darussalam. The Courtesy Call was held on 1st April 2026 at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The call discussed potential areas of collaboration between Brunei Darussalam and the State of Kuwait, particularly in the energy sector. As energy producers with hydrocarbon-driven economies, Brunei Darussalam and the State of Kuwait have strategic priorities focused on maximising the value of oil and gas resources while gradually preparing for a more diversified energy future.
