His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, this morning chaired the 413th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Petroleum Sendirian Berhad (BSP) and the 191st Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Marketing Sendirian Berhad (BSM) for the Fourth Quarter of the year 2024. The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office building.
Upon arrival, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II and Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd. Hanifah, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office, in their capacity as members of the BSP and BSM Board of Directors.
At the meeting, His Majesty in a titah emphasised the need for strong leadership, combined with technical expertise, unwavering commitment and a united effort across the Brunei Shell Joint Venture and BGC to successfully navigate future challenges.
The meeting commenced with a recitation of Doa and was attended by key stakeholders including Shareholder Directors representing the Government of His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Shell plc, as well as members of the respective management from BSP and BSM.
The meeting addressed critical areas such as operational performance, safety, financials, and manpower development, while charting BSP and BSM future strategic direction.
This marks the end of the Brunei Shell Joint Venture and BGC Board Meetings for the Fourth Quarter of 2024.
