The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and its Departments continues the Dikir Maulidur Rasul at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong District. Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Also in attendance were Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali, Acting Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office as well as Senior Officials, as well as Officers and Staff of the PMO and its Departments.
The event began with the mass Maghrib prayer led by Yang Mulia Sahibol Omar bin Haji Yusof, Imam of Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, followed by the recitation of Surah Al[1]Fatihah, Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Syarafil Anam by a dikir group from the Department of Electrical Services. The was later followed by the recitation of wirid and prayer, the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and the recitation of Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Syarafil Anam by the Department of Electrical Services’ dikir group. The event proceeded with the Isya’ prayer, a Dikir Marhaban, a recitation of Doa to seek blessings and protection from Allah the Almighty followed by the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam and concluded with a hand over of waqaf by the Guest of Honour to a representative of Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque.
Co-organised by the Department of Civil Service, the Brunei Research Department and the Department of Electrical Services, the Dikir Maulud event was held to commemorate the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam’s innumerable sacrifices in the teachings of Islam as a way to express the sense of love for the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam among the staff of the Prime Minister’s Office and its Department.
