The Prime Minister’s Office and its Departments continues the Dikir Maulidur Rasul at Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in the Temburong District. Present was the Acting Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance), Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali as the Guest of Honour.

The event began with the mass Maghrib prayer led by Yang Mulia Awang Norezam bin Haji Zaini, Imam Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Syarafil Anam by a dikir group from the Public Service Department. The event proceeded with mass Isya’ prayer led by Yang Mulia Muhammad Syahmi bin Haji Zaini, Imam of Utama Mohammad Salleg Mosque, which was later followed by a Dikir Marhaban, a recitation of Doa to seek blessings and protection from Allah the Almighty followed by the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam and concluded with a presentation of waqaf by the Guest of Honour to a representative of Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque.

Co-organised by the Department of Civil Service, the Brunei Research Department and the Department of Electrical Services, the Dikir Maulud event was held to commemorate the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam’s innumerable sacrifices in the teachings of Islam as a way to express the sense of love for the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam among the staff of the Prime Minister’s Office and its Department. Also in attendance were Senior Officials, Officers and Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office and its Departments.
