​The Prime Minister’s Office and its Departments held the Closing Ceremony of the Dikir Maulidur Rasul at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque. Present as the Special Guest of the Ceremony was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II.

Also in attendance were Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Special Invitees, Heads of Departments, Officers and Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office and its Departments. The event began with the Maghrib prayer led by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran, Head Imam of Ash-Shaliheen Mosque followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Syarafil Anam by the Radio Televisyen Brunei Dikir Group.

The event later proceeded with the Isya’ prayer, Dikir Marhaban, recitation of Doa to seek blessings and protection from Allah the Almighty, followed by the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. The event was later concluded with a hand over of waqaf by the Special Guest to a representative of Ash-Shaliheen Mosque. The event was co-organised by the Department of Civil Service and Brunei Research Department and in collaboration with Radio Televisyen Brunei.
