Farewell Call from the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China

Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office, received a Farewell Call from His Excellency Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam on 2nd December 2025.

During the call, Yang Mulia Dato expressed his appreciation for His Excellency’s dedication and contribution to promoting the bilateral friendship between the two countries during His Excellency’s tenure.

Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China enjoy strong diplomatic relations in the energy sector, highlighted by a broader strategic cooperative partnership and investments in the energy sector.
