Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (Energy, Upstream and Downstream), received an Introductory Call from His Excellency Akrapong Chalermnon, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam on 24 September 2026 at the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the call, both sides exchanged views on existing energy cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand, and explored opportunities to further strengthen collaboration, such as in low-carbon downstream development.
His Excellency presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on 12 May 2026.
