Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office received a Courtesy Call from His Excellency Yip Wei Kiat, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam. The Courtesy Call was held on 27th May 2026 at the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the call, both sides reaffirmed the long-standing relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore in various areas of cooperation including climate change, energy transition and renewable energy. Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 24th August 2022, focusing on energy and the green economy.
