As part of efforts by the Government of His Majesty the Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to ensure that sales of petroleum products are continually controlled, the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office in accordance with its press release announced on 30th March 2026, hereby issues an Additional Directive (VI) on Minimum of Three-Quarters (3/4) Vehicle Tank Volume Upon Entry to Brunei Darussalam. The implementation of this Additional Directive will be jointly enforced by the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office; Royal Customs and Excise Department, Ministry of Finance and Economy; Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam, Brunei Shell Marketing Sdn.
